| July 7, 2007, we will embark upon a long-distance riding challenge called an Iron Butt: travelling a distance of 1600 km within 24 hours on a sport bike. This extraordinary challenge requires incredible physical and mental stamina to cover such a long distance.
A fundraising campaign has been launched, with all profits going to the Quebec Breast Cancer Foundation (www.rubanrose.org). In the upcoming months, various activities will take place around the metropolitan area of greater Montreal. We invite you to visit our website on a regular basis to familiarize yourself with the dates and locations of these activities.
We obviously need excellent media coverage to assist us in raising as many funds as possible in order to help with the research to overcome this deadly disease. Let's not forget that breast cancer touches one woman out of nine and for every twenty-seven, one will die.
